Another Northern Light

There is absolutely no doubt that Hanne Hukkelberg was once the naughty, younger sister of Madeleine Peyroux.

I bet she hung around the back of the practise room whilst Maddy and the band were playing, listening in closely, with a little smile on her lips as she thought of all the great things she was going to do when she got around to making her own music.

She'd go back, home, lock herself in her tiny bedroom, take out her pencil box drum, her xylophone inscribed with whacky animals, her vintage mini Casio and record her life away on a cheap Tandy cassette player.
